| Actress ALBERTA WATSON currently stars as Madeline
on the cult television show "La Femme Nikita." She has also starred
in two films featured on Entertainment Weekly’s Best Independent Films
of the 90’s list; they include David O. Russell’s Spanking The Monkey,
where she starred as Susan Aibelli opposite Jeremy Davies, and Atom
Egoyan’s The Sweet Hereafter, where she starred as Risa Walker opposite
Maury Chaykin with Ian Holm. Watson can be seen in three upcoming independent films, Christina Wayne’s Tart, with Lacey Chabert, Melanie Griffiths and Brad Renfro; Sheri Elwood’s Deeply, with Lynn Redgrave and Kirsten Dunst; and Colleen Murphy’s Desire, with Graham Greene and Zachary Bennett. Her other credits include Jerry Ciccoritti’s Life Before This, Eric Till’s The Girl Next Door, Colleen Murphy’s Shoemaker, Iain Softley’s Hackers with Jonny Lee Miller and Angelina Jolie. On the small screen Watson has starred in such movies of the week as "Dog Hermit," "Frame Up," "Mood Indigo," "Shannon’s Deal," "Women Of Valour" and the upcoming "Wild Geese," opposite Sam Sheppard. She has guest starred on such series as "Soul Food," "Outer Limits," "Law & Order" and "Grand" to name a few.
