Pamela Koffler has been co-president of Killer Films since its conception in 1996. The first project under the Killer Films banner she produced was Cindy Sherman’s directorial debut, Office Killer, a send-up of the horror genre starring Carol Kane, Molly Ringwald and Jeanne Tripplehorn. Following was I’m Losing You, Bruce Wagner’s directorial debut from his best selling novel, starring Rosanna Arquette, Frank Langella and Andrew McCarthy and most recently, Crime + Punishment in Suburbia, written by Larry Gross and directed by Rob Schmidt, starring Monica Keena, Vincent Kartheiser, Jeffrey Wright and Ellen Barkin. Koffler executive produced the award-winning Boys Don’t Cry, directed by Kimberly Peirce and starring Hilary Swank and Chloe Sevigny and was the production executive on Todd Haynes’ Velvet Goldmine, which won Haynes a Special Jury Award for Artistic Contribution at Cannes and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Costume Design. She also was the line producer for such films Larry Clark’s Kids, Nigel Finch’s Stonewall, Mary Harron’s I Shot Andy Warhol, starring Lili Taylor, Jared Harris and Stephen Dorff and Todd Solondz’s Happiness, which had its world premiere in the Director’s Fortnight and unanimously won the prestigious Fipresci Critic’s Prize at Cannes in 1998.

Upcoming projects for Koffler include Series 7, directed by Dan Minahan, One Hour Photo, which will mark Mark Romanek’s feature film directorial debut and Tim Blake’s Grey Zone, starring Harvey Keitel, Steve Buscemi, Natasha Lyonne and Mira Sorvino. Based on Nelson’s Obie Award-winning off-Broadway play, this powerful drama is partially based on Miklos Nyiszli’s non-fiction book, ‘Auschwitz: A Doctor’s Eye Witness Account.’
