Arianne Phillips has garnered critical raves for her cutting-edge costumes. Her designs have dressed some of Hollywood’s hottest actors including Angelina Jolie and Winona Ryder for James Mangold’s Girl Interrupted; Claire Danes, Giovanni Ribisi and Omar Epps for Scott Silver’s Mod Squad; Mira Sorvino and Chow Yun-Fat for Antoine Fuqua’s The Replacement Killers; and Courtney Love, Woody Harrelson and Edward Norton for The People VS. Larry Flynt. Her other credits include Mark Pellington’s Going All The Way, starring Jeremy Davies and Rachel Wiecz; Rachel Talalay’s Tank Girl, starring Lori Petty; and Alex Proyas’ The Crow, starring Brandon Lee. Phillips began her career in music and is currently the personal stylist for Madonna and Courtney Love. Phillips first melded her love of music and fashion when she started designing costumes for music videos. To this day she has worked with such influential recording artists as Madonna, Aerosmith, Garbage, Smashing Pumpkins, Courtney Love, R.E.M., Sonic Youth, Lenny Kravitz, INXS, Iggy Pop and many others.
